Software Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer who would work on the platform adding new features and help scale the application. A person who can work on every layer of the application from frontend to backend and everything in between.

The application is developed using Ruby on Rails v7 backed by Postgres. We are hosted on AWS and use Docker for some parts of our application.

Ideally the candidate should have at least 2 years of experience working on Rails applications.

What you should bring for it:

• You have excellent knowledge of backend development and technologies, particularly Ruby on Rails
• Git and GitHub
• You have done TDD with either Rspec or Minitest
• You have a solid knowledge of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)/ Mysql and REST APIs.
• Familiar with Docker
• You have experience working in an agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Your communication skills are very good
