We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SQA Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our software products.
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
· Design, develop, execute, and maintain API test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
· Perform functional, integration, regression, and negative testing of REST APIs.
· Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar tools.
· Validate API request/response, status codes, headers, authentication, authorization, JSON/XML payloads, and error handling.
· Perform API testing with different authentication mechanisms such as Bearer Token, OAuth, API Keys, etc.
· Analyze API logs, responses, and test results to identify root causes of issues.
· Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure quality deliverables.
· Perform API regression testing whenever new changes or releases are introduced.
· Develop and maintain API automation tests where applicable.
· Participate in Agile processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
· Prepare test reports and communicate testing status, risks, and blockers.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven experience as a SQA Engineer in a software house or tech company.
𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or JUnit.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.-
