Senior Full-Stack Developer Frontend Heavy (Pharmacy Billing Systems) – React, Node.js, SQL
We seek a Senior Full-Stack Frontend Heavy Developer interested in building highly complex pharmacy/medical billing systems. You will join a company with 14+ years in the industry and launch a new product to market in a niche. The following requirements are necessary for the position:
· 5+ years of experience working with modern frontend stacks, at least 4 years of which at least needs to be in React
· Strong experience with TypeScript and vanilla JavaScript
· *nix experience, including strong command line knowledge (most of us work in OSX)
· 2+ years of experience in Node.js, preferably with Koa, but not required
· Strong SQL experience, preferably with Postgres. You must have experience building SQL Triggers and functions and a strong understanding of building performance-focused queries.
· Experience working with containers like Docker
· Unit testing/automation experience like Jest or similar and working with continuous integration (CI) environments
· You must be able to work autonomously and be a deep thinker, able to think about edge cases and come up with clean architecture solutions that will scale
· Communication skills will be your key to success; you must be able to use your experience to perform proper requirements gathering and ask the right questions to get to the desired solution
· You should be motivated to learn new things and industries and desire to have a deep understanding of the problem space
· A deep understanding of core Computer Science fundamentals will be required, including understanding memory management, design patterns, and various protocols
Nice to have:
· Experience with caching systems like Redis or similar
· Queuing/Job scheduling system experience like AQMP or PGBoss
· Experience in the medical/pharmacy/healthcare space, preferably with some billing experience
· Working with AI or a history of working with OCR frameworks
· Experience with accounting systems and working with ledgers
