We are looking for a talented Web Designer & Developer to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for creating beautiful, user-friendly websites and web applications that align with our company’s goals and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Web Design & Development: Create visually appealing, responsive, and user-centric websites and web applications from concept to completion.
- UI/UX Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to design intuitive interfaces and improve the overall user experience.
- Front-End Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Implement modern web technologies like React, Vue.js, or Angular, if applicable.
- Back-End Development (optional): Work with back-end frameworks and languages like PHP, Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails to develop dynamic websites and applications.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure all websites are compatible with major browsers and devices, providing a seamless user experience.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve website speed and performance.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing to ensure sites are error-free, fully functional, and secure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the content team, marketing team, and other designers/developers to ensure the final product meets the business objectives and user needs.
- Ongoing Maintenance: Update and maintain existing websites, implementing new features and fixing bugs as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in web design and development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating web projects.
- Web Design: Proficient in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch.
- Front-End Technologies: Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design techniques.
- Back-End Development (optional but preferred): Experience with server-side languages (PHP, Node.js, Ruby, Python, etc.) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Version Control: Familiar with version control systems like Git and GitHub.
- Responsive Design: Deep understanding of creating mobile-first, responsive web designs.
- Cross-Platform & Browser Compatibility: Ability to ensure websites work across multiple browsers and devices.
- SEO & Analytics: Knowledge of technical SEO best practices and integrating Google Search Console to measure website performance.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a high standard of design and development quality.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React.js or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and web security best practices.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and DevOps tools.
