Job Description
We are looking for a skilled WordPress developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of WordPress core, plugins, and themes and experience with custom theme and plugin development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites for clients, including custom themes and plugins.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure a seamless project workflow.
- Work with clients to identify their website requirements and provide technical recommendations.
- Troubleshoot website issues and bugs and provide timely solutions
- Keep up to date with the latest WordPress updates and trends, and integrate them into our projects
- Provide technical support and training to clients
Requirements:
- Strong experience with WordPress core, plugins, and themes
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development
- Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Understanding of web development best practices, including SEO and website optimization
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1+ years of experience in WordPress development
