We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress development and customization, along with proficiency in front-end technologies. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing custom themes, plugins, and functionality to enhance our website's performance and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch based on provided designs or specifications.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement front-end features and functionality.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and responsiveness across devices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress sites, plugins, and themes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
- Assist in website migrations, updates, and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and PHP.
- Experience with WordPress theme development and customization using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and APIs.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
