Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Junior WordPress Developer to join our IT team! As a WordPress Developer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.
Responsibilities
- Creating and Sending Proposals to Clients
- Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
- Designing and building the website front-end.
- Creating the website architecture.
- Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
- Migration of the websites
- Search Engine Optimization of the websites
- Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
- Monitoring the performance of the live website.
Requirements
- Bachelor in Computer Science or Information Technology (Must)
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery (Must)
- Understanding of industry-leading Page Builders like Elementor, Divi & WP Bakery, etc. (Must)
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc. (Must)
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications (Optional)
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites (Optional)
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers (Optional)
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages (Optional)
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) (Optional)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial (Optional)
- Understanding of PHP back-end development (Optional)
