Renexcode Software Development Company is hiring a Custom WordPress and shopify Developer.
Role and Responsibilities:
Imagine, design, and build front-end and back-end WordPress & Shopify projects for us and our clients.
Work daily in a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript).
Work on the websites’ aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).
Collaborate with design and content teams to translate campaigns and activations into optimized web elements -- including websites, micro-sites, landing pages, and forms.
Install and configure WordPress plugins.
Run database administrative scripts via SQL or PHPMyAdmin.
Incorporating all necessary HTML and CSS into WordPress themes, templates, and additional PHP and HTML pages.
WordPress development includes theme and individual template development, plugin tweaks, new feature development.
Use WordPress to power mobile apps using frameworks like PhoneGap and Apppresser.
Integrate with third-party APIs (including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Zapier).
Develop internal PR Hacker web-based dashboards and client portals.
Design and implement new features and functionality.
Establish and guide the website’s architecture.
Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
Help formulate an effective, responsive design and turn it into a working theme and plugin.
Recommend best practices for WordPress development.
Assist with debugging / development of bug fixes and day-to-day maintenance.
Development of new features under the guidance of more senior team members.
Function as “project owner” for some new or existing projects, managing initial requirements, feature requests, and long-term support.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or related discipline.
Preferred Skills:
1 year of WordPress development experience.
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
Experience building user interfaces for websites or web applications.
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}.
