Job Description
- We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
- The candidate must have experience in WooCommerce, themes customization, plugin customization, and development.
- PSD to WordPress – Custom Theme Development
- This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).
- The candidate should have strong knowledge of databases like MySQL, MS SQL, etc.
- The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.
- Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment, is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- PSD/Ai/XD to WordPress
- Custom post types
- To develop responsive design websites
- Theme & plugin customization
- Responsible for designing and implementation of new features and functionality
- Understanding of Web Development process
- Creating and managing the website's architecture
- Able to handle all the technicalities of the CMS
- Formulate an effective, approachable design and turn it into a working theme and plugin.
- Knowledge of building user interfaces for websites
- Strong understanding to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
- The candidate should have a strong understanding of how to interact with APIs
- Knowledge of code versioning tool such as Git
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Previous work experience as a PHP and WordPress Developer for 6 months to 2 years.
- Strong OOP concepts are mandatory.
- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Knowledge of front-end technologies.
