Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior PHP & WordPress Backend Developer at ExertLogics in Lahore. The role entails working on day-to-day tasks related to back-end web development, ensuring responsive web design, and optimizing web development processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in backend web development, with a focus on WordPress and PHP.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and WordPress development (themes, plugins, and customizations).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL with experience in writing optimized SQL queries.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for seamless collaboration with front-end teams.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Bonus: Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
