Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, and will be well-versed in using JIRA for project management and issue tracking. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium/Cypress/Playwrite.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Identify, record, and track bugs using JIRA, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct regression testing and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Work closely with developers to understand application functionality and design efficient testing strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, specifically in automation testing.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium.
- Familiarity with JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
