We’re Hiring: Java Developer, Islamabad (On-Site)
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Java Developer role located in Islamabad at Zaryans Consulting. The Java Developer will be responsible for software development, working with microservices, programming, utilizing the Spring Framework, and expertise in Java.
Qualifications
Software Development and Programming skills
Experience with Microservices and the Spring Framework
Proficiency in Java programming
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Java (2+ years), especially in server-side development
Experience with WebRTC, SFU architecture, or media server frameworks (e.g., Jitsi, Jitsi Videobridge)
Familiarity with Jitsi Meet stack: Videobridge, Jicofo, Jigasi, and Prosody
Understanding of audio/video codecs, RTP/RTCP, and network protocols
Familiarity with XMPP protocol and Prosody scripting (Lua is a plus)
Good understanding of performance profiling, media quality optimization, and scalability
