We're Hiring: Software Engineer (Backend-Oriented Full Stack — AWS Serverless)
We're looking for a Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team at Akaltic.
This is a backend-first role with the opportunity to work across the full stack, building scalable, event-driven platforms using modern AWS technologies.
What You'll Do
• Design and build backend services using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB (Single-Table Design), EventBridge, and SQS.
• Develop REST APIs following DDD/CQRS principles and integrate them with Next.js applications.
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, production-ready user interfaces.
• Design efficient DynamoDB schemas using Single-Table Design, GSIs, ULIDs, conditional writes, and TransactWriteItems.
• Build event-driven workflows for asynchronous processing, scheduling, notifications, and task automation.
• Write and maintain infrastructure using AWS SAM / CloudFormation.
• Manage deployments, IAM permissions, API Gateway, Lambda Authorizers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work across microservices including authentication, profiles, payments, notifications, and file management.
What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, and SAM/CloudFormation).
• Experience with Next.js, React, REST APIs, and Git.
• Practical understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into clean, reusable, responsive components.
